nice little pool, spacious bathroom, rooftop terrace
Charges like a 5% ATM fee and increases in room prices without notice are unacceptable!!! Access to the hotel could be challenging for elderly guests due to three steps at the entrance!!!

For anyone thinking about this
A stay here is full of mixed experiences. The rooms are spacious and the rooftop bar is a delightful retreat offering great views. In the heart of Stone Town, it's easy to explore nearby attractions, though noise can be disruptive at times. Service was hit-or-miss, which could impact your visit significantly.

The outdoor pool was a perfect escape after a long day, and I especially loved lounging on the sun terrace. There was a minor hiccup with the Wi-Fi being a bit spotty at times, but it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment. Definitely check out the rooftop bar for stunning views! 🌅

The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful during our stay! The hotel looks appealing with well-maintained surroundings. The pool view is refreshing and perfect for a quick dip after a long day.

i had a great stay at spice palace! the location is fantastic, right in the center of stone town. the outdoor pool was refreshing, and the hotel kept everything well-maintained. habiba at the reception was super helpful, even guiding us on local transport options to explore more. great value for money!
the first-floor rooms can smell a bit musty.

Had a nice stay, but the breakfast was pretty poor, not much variety at all. Rooftop views were a highlight, though! Chur for the cookies in my room!
